We used Egypt Tour Portal from 14 September to 22 September 2026 to explore Egypt, and honestly, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Reda (Rody) was an excellent guide. His knowledge of Cairo and Alexandria was incredible, but what stood out the most was his passion for Egypt and its history. You could really see that he loves what he does, and that made the experience even more special. Rody went far beyond what we expected from a tour guide. He made sure we were comfortable, took the time to explain everything, answered all our questions and always looked for ways to make our experience better. He genuinely cared about us having the best possible experience and not just about getting through the itinerary. His energy, friendliness and passion made a big difference to our trip. Mekky was our guide from Aswan to Luxor and was just as knowledgeable and friendly. He was always willing to explain things, answer our questions and make sure we understood and enjoyed the places we visited. He was patient, helpful and made the entire experience enjoyable. Both of our guides really went the extra mile to ensure we had one amazing trip throughout Egypt. They didn't just show us the sights — they helped us experience and understand Egypt. We were a group of four and chose the Cairo, Luxury and Alexandria tour package. We had two Egyptologists guiding us throughout the trip, and both were absolutely fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and truly passionate about Egyptian history. We couldn’t have asked for better guides. There were, however, some scheduling issues that affected our experience. After our Cairo tour on Day 1, we flew to Luxor that night. Our Luxor tour finished around 3pm the next day, but our return flight to Cairo wasn’t until 9pm. We were dropped at the hotel and ended up sitting in the lobby for four hours until our pickup at 7pm. An earlier flight or a late checkout would have made a big difference. We arrived back in Cairo after 11:30pm, too late for dinner, and our Alexandria tour started at 6am the next morning, meaning we also missed breakfast. A packed breakfast should have been arranged. The itinerary would have flowed much better if the Alexandria tour had been scheduled on Day 1 instead of Day 3. Aside from the scheduling, everything else was excellent. The drivers were always on time, the vans were clean and comfortable, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. Despite the timing issues, we would still recommend Egypt Tours for their outstanding guides and overall service.
